The Master’s Level Certified Addiction Professional (MCAP) Course, offered by M&A Community Outreach Center, Inc., extends over 161+ hours of self-paced studies, and is fully conducted online. This course focuses exclusively on the training hours required for MCAP certification, totaling 161 hours of comprehensive instruction.
The MCAP credential signifies expertise in critical domains including Clinical Evaluation, Treatment Planning, Counseling, Case Management and Referral, Client, Family and Community Education, Documentation, Clinical Supervision, and Professional Responsibility. Holding the MCAP designation qualifies individuals as competent professionals under Chapter 397, Florida Statutes, enabling them to diagnose substance use disorders in programs billed under Florida’s State Medicaid Plan.
